kigamo introduces the scanback 6000XP and 8000XP for 4x5" view cameras with twice the sensitivity of previous models using the newest CCD's from Kodak and prescan speeds as fast as 5 seconds and our ExtendedResolution feature to deliver files up to 583MB. The ExtendedResolution expands the available resolution to 150% by capturing real pixel information for the length of the scan while the width is slightly extended to complete the image. All resolutions at or below 100% remain uninterpolated pixel data. The "XP" models are powered by new electronics to make them even faster and more accurate. We are able to move the CCD to over 20,000 individual positions per revolution of the precision lead screw combined with the CCD cushioned on ball bearing rail moved for absolute accurate and repeatable movements. All current models are naturally upgradeable to the "XP" models.
